Talent Direct Agency's December 2024 Newsletter

2024 Coming to a Close

As we head into the holiday season, TDA would like to thank all of our supporters, talent & clients for another successful year. We may sound like a broken record at times, but we really can't do what we do without all of you! Keep an eye out in January for our year in review blog and video post. The last event of the year will be the WIFT Jingle Mingle in Orlando. In an effort to close out the year, we will be closing the office at 3pm on Friday December 20th and will reopen Monday January 6th, 2025. We have several pending castings and projects so emails will continue to be monitored during this time.

WIFT x Childrens Harbor x Brandstar

The WIFT South Florida Branch recently collaborated with Children's Harbor and Brandstar to film a heartfelt PSA, we got a behind-the-scenes look at the importance of supporting foster children in need. A team of dedicated volunteers made the project a success, including Sky Aris, Aleah Williams, Stella Burger, Jessica Robles, Leilah Star, Tyrese Saint-Cyr, Erika Hanchar, Krystal Turner, Yajhayra Maria, Angel Silva, Marcela Fernanda, Kat Briceno, Destiny Cazeau, Rodly Saint-Aude, and Shannah Bharath. Each volunteer contributed their unique skill sets. From organizing logistics to assisting with filming, the team's collaborative effort showcased the power of community in creating impactful media for a good cause. Their hard work is bringing this PSA to life, highlighting the mission of Children’s Harbor and its commitment to supporting vulnerable foster children in South Florida. TDA's Bianka Krausch and Sabine Krausch have been spearheading this project.

Producers Series Recap

The Producer Series, hosted by Dynamic Color Studios x Braveman Media in collaboration with the WIFT South Florida Branch, focused on the critical topic of NOT fixing It in Post. This event invited industry professionals to discuss the importance of getting it right during production, rather than relying on post-production fixes. The session highlighted the value of pre-production planning, meticulous shooting, and effective on-set collaboration to ensure that footage is captured as intended, saving time and resources in the editing room. Attendees gained valuable insight into the creative and technical processes that help avoid the need for costly and time-consuming post-production adjustmets.
