Talent Direct Agency Talent Spotlight - Ameer Shata

Hello there, my name is Ameer Shata and my acting journey started when I was 10 years old. I was in after school care and they were throwing a play and I had the honor of playing Spiderman. Being on stage and becoming my favorite character growing up was truly an experience I will never forget. Ever since then, acting has been an escape from this world and not only do I learn more about it everyday, I also discover more about myself along the journey. I've never envisioned myself doing anything else. 

My personal favorite genres are Science Fiction and Adventure. I love to watch films and get transported to Mordor fighting orcs, or flying on Falkors back in The Never Ending Story. 

My goal is to become one of these characters that are so far away in imagination that you must leave your current state of mind and go back to the days when you were a child playing charades. Just have to remember to keep working hard and envision the future that you want to make a reality.
