To say we are overwhelmed with gratitude over here at TDA would be an understatement! Your TDA gals love to produce an event with meaning and we did just that alongside Film Florida and our friends at IDX. Without our sponsors, volunteers & a wonderful community of industry professionals, none of it would have been possible. With over 150 people in attendance, guests included talent, casting directors, producers, sound engineers, editors, and so many others who keep South Florida working. Having three film commissioners (Sandy Lighterman - Broward County, Michelle Hillery - Palm Beach County & Chad Newman - Florida Keys) in one room really made the night special. We must say that the team over at IDX is an amazing example of how to collaborate and work together to produce quality content. We wish them all the success in their beautiful space. TDA's Steffie Neubauer traveled overseas to Germany where she booked a role for a German TV show. She spent about 3 weeks there and we can't wait to hear all about it. In Florida news, TDA's Film & TV agent Sabine Krausch ventured up to the Space Coast for the Film Florida annual meeting. Sabine attended committee/council meetings, Board of Directors meetings & a board workshop.

Get Scene's Southeastern Actors Conference Atlanta 2024

Our TDA'ers took over Atlanta this month for the "Get Scene's Southeastern Actors Conference"! The event took place June 7, 8, & 9 at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center! The event was three days of non-stop fun, activities, industry insight, inspiration, and connection to the Southeast Actor Community!

Thank you to Kim Houston & Marlene Marcos for hosting a fantastic WIFT workshop and lending their expertise in all things teleprompter. There was a great group of talent who were able to practice their teleprompter skills with the guidance of two fantastic teachers. Bianka Krausch revisited her talent days and joined in on the fun by reading a script to the group as well. Bianka expressed that she is happy to remain on the other side of the camera and industry at this juncture in her career. Keep an eye out for more WIFT workshops. These are a great way to sample classes and gain knowledge in our industry.
