The next Film Florida Friday is Friday May 10, 2024 at 9:30am ET featuring a discussion about whether someone is an employee or an independent contractor with a focus on the screen production industry. Panelists will discuss the legal differences between the two as well as what makes the issue so challenging when it comes to the industry. Film Florida Fridays are free interactive conversations about current topics, initiatives and relationship-building in Florida's screen production industry. These conversations take place one Friday each month at 9:30am EST on Zoom, where industry professionals and up-and-comers are encouraged to gather with a cup of coffee, ask questions and speak directly with industry leaders.
